Teriyaki Beef with Mini Penne

We love pasta for so many reasons, there affordable, versatile and tasty. Pasta makes for a wonderful dinner entree. 

Teriyaki Beef with Mini Penne
Recipe by Christine Lamb @ Christine's Pantry - 2016

Ingredients:
1 cup mini penne
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
cheddar jack cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon olive oil

Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Add plenty of salt to pasta water, Drain and return to pot.

In deep skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, salt and pepper. Breaking the meat up as it cooks. Add teriyaki sauce, onions and bell pepper, cook until meat no longer pink and vegetables are crisp tender. Stir in tomato sauce, garlic and pasta. Sprinkle with cheese. Serve and enjoy.
