Cheesy Fire Roasted Garlic Smoked Sausage with Pasta
Recipe by Christine Lamb @ Christine's Pantry - 2016
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups farfalle pasta (bow-tie pasta)
2 - 10.5 oz canned cheddar cheese sauce
1 small onion, chopped
1 - 12 oz fire roasted garlic smoke sausage, sliced thin
salt and pepper
2 green onions, rough chopped for garnish
1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
Cook pasta according to pasta directions. Add plenty of salt to the pasta water. Drain and return pasta to pot.
In a skillet heat oil over medium heat, add onions and season with salt and pepper. Add smoked sausage and stir. Cook until onions are tender. Remove sausage and onions to a paper towel line dish.
In a separate skillet, add cheese, stirring. Stir in pasta and smoked sausage, heat through. Garnish with green onions.
