Cheese Tomatoes With Zucchini

Many people feared tomatoes for more than 200 years. People thought the tomatoe was poison.

Zucchini is part of the gourd family. Native to Central America and Mexico. Zucchini is grown in United States during the warm season.

This is a easy side dish. Delicious! You don't have to put as much green onions as I did. Chopped red onions would be good. Onion powder would  be good.

Pantry Essential

Here's what I've  got in my pantry, frigerator and freezer. I wish I had this list years ago. Let’s get started.  Here's the list for the pantry...

I always have broth on hand. I always have diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste. Always have cream of mushroom soup. Always have rice and pasta. Potatoes and onions. Minced garlic. Cooking oil... olive oil, vegetable oil and cooking spray. I've got a lot of spices in my pantry. The main ones that I use are garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, crushed red pepper,  parsley flakes, italian seasoning and of course salt and pepper. Moving on to the refrigerator... milk, eggs, butter, cheese x 3, sour cream, mustard, ketchup, mayo, tomatoes, lettuce, green onions , worcestersire sauce.

In the freezer, I have chicken, pork, ground beef, frozen vegetables and always keep frozen meal on hand for the night I just don't want to cook.

Is there something that you have in your pantry, frigerator or freezer that's not on my list, leave me a comment below, maybe other people can get ideas.

Until next time,
Christine

Food City and Walmart Haul

This was a small grocery haul. Anthony wanted ice cream. He also wanted chili dogs. So I got what he wanted. Got soda, can soup, can of chili, Anthony needed body wash, vegetable oil, toilet paper, hot dog buns, powerade, lettuce and tomatoes.  $36.00 and some change.

Couple of weeks ago, Anthony and I went grocery shopping. The following day, Anthony got sick, he was in a lot of pain. So, we headed to ER. ER doctor did a CT Scan. About hour later the doctor gave us the results, not good. They transported Anthony to downtown hospital, where he had two surgeries. He was in the hospital for five days. I was with him all the time. So, no cooking the time he was in the hospital.

Our vacuum decided to stop working, so went to Walmart to get a new vacuum cleaner. While I was there got pepper gel, tongs and dog treats for Miss Greta.
