Apparently on March 1, 2012 Google is doing away with Google Friends Connect. GFC will no longer be available to non blogger blogs all over the world. So if you don't use blogger.com you will no longer be able to use Google Friend Connect. Google wants to focus on Google + and encourage folks to use Google +.
