Pinto beans and ham is very filling and yummy. So easy.
Ingredients:
1 pound dry pinto beans
1 ham steak, cube
1 large white onion, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons pinto bean seasoning
1 large bay leaf
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
Directions:
Wash, remove bad beans and soak overnight. Next day, drain and add beans to slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
