Baked Cheez It Chicken

Not sure why it took me so long to use Cheez It's as breading mixture. It adds a ton of cheesy flavor to the chicken. After the chicken was coated with Cheez It's I spray cooking spray, it helps to get the crust crunchy. 

Baked Cheez It Chicken
Recipe by Christine Lamb @ Christine's Pantry - 2017

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds chicken tenders
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 1/2 cup crushed Cheez It's
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
cooking spray

Directions:
Season both side of chicken tenders with salt, pepper, garlic powder and drizzle olive oil on chicken.

Cut a piece of tin foil to fit a cooking sheet. Lightly spray with non stick cooking spray. Set aside. Preheat oven to 375.

Crush the Cheez It on a piece of tin foil, add italian seasoning, mix well. Take the chicken tenders and coated with crushed Cheez It's and place on sheet pan. Once all chicken tenders are coated, lightly spray with cooking spray. And place in oven. 

Bake 10 minutes and turn over, spray lightly with cooking spray. Cook until chicken is no longer pink.
