Slow Cooker Frito Chili Bowl

Slow Cooker Frito Chili Bowl

You'll love the versatility of frito chili bowl. 

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 - 8 oz cans tomato sauce
1 - 15.5 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles
1 - 6 oz can tomato paste
1 small green bell pepper, seeded and diced
1 - 15.5 oz can mild chili beans
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 small tomato, seeded and diced for garnish
1 green onion, chopped for garnish
shredded cheese, use your favorite cheese
1 bag of fritos

Directions:
In large skillet heat olive oil over medium heat, add ground beef, crumble meat as it cooks. Add onions, green bell pepper, salt and pepper, cook until no longer pink. 

Place cooked ground beef in slow cooker, add remaining ingredients, except cheese, tomato and green onions. Stir well. Slow cook on low for 2 hours. 

To serve, place fritos in bottom of bowl, spoon chili on top of fritos, sprinkle cheese, fresh diced tomato and green onions. Serve immediately.
