Polish Cabbage and Noodles

Simple ingredients create a delicious meal in minutes. Perfect comfort meal. 

When I was growing up, there was just a couple of veggies that I liked, now that I'm older, I love veggies and cabbage is right at the top of the list. Cabbage is good for you. 

When seasoning this dish be generous with salt, pepper and garlic powder, it makes this extra good.

Polish Cabbage and Noodles
Recipe by Christine Lamb @ Christine's Pantry - 2019

Ingredients:
8 ounces egg noodle
1 small head green cabbage, sliced
12 ounces kielbasa, sliced
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 small onion, diced
1 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup pasta water

Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup of pasta water. 

Heat olive oil over medium heat. Saute kielbasa, until brown. Remove to plate and set aside. To the same skillet add cabbage, onions, butter, salt, pepper and pasta water, cook until tender. Sprinkle garlic powder. Return sausage to skillet. Add noodles and simmer 15 minutes, stirring. Serve.
