Skillet Fried Chicken
Recipe by Christine Lamb @ Christine's Pantry - 2017
Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
salt and pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon paprika
3/4 teaspoon black pepper, reserve 1/4 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 cup flour
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
In shallow dish, add flour, garlic salt, paprika, black pepper and oregano, mix well. In a separate dish, add eggs, milk, black pepper and cayenne pepper, stirring.
Season both sides of chicken with, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
In 12 inch non stick skillet, heat oil (1/4 inch) over medium high heat. Carefully add chicken to hot oil, cook 10 minutes, until brown, turn, cook another 5 to 10 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
