Awesome Egg Salad Sandwich

If you don’t have a garden, fresh chives are readily available fresh in most markets year-round.

Choose fresh, uniform sized, evenly green leaves with no signs of wilting, yellowing, or drying.

Chives are also available frozen and freeze dried.

Store fresh chives in a plastic bag and store inside the refrigerator for up to a week. Do not wash until ready to use them, as excessive moisture will promote decay. Dried leaves may be placed in an air tight container and stored in a cool, dry place.
