Weekend Getaway

I thought I would share with you my weekend getaway. July we went to San Antonio, TX for the weekend. Our main reason to go to San Antonio was to see AC/DC concert. We couldn't check in the hotel until 3 pm, so we left home about 10:00 am. It was little over 4 hour drive. Once we checked in the hotel and saw the hotel room, totally different than what we saw online. The room had an odor. The bed was terrible. The pillows was very tiny. Low water pressure and hot water wasn't hot, it was warm water. We was not happy with the hotel. Aside from that we had pay $50.00 to park. Went to nice restaurant, we ordered po-boy, water, he got. 2crab cakes and alcohol drink. Our bill, $89.00. We did a lot of walking around before the concert. We decided to take Uber to the concert, no, we were not going to pay $80.00 for Uber to take us 1 mile, so we walked. The concert ended about 11:00 pm. In order for Uber to take us back to the hotel, it was going to cost $120.00, so we walked. I got my exercise in that day, we walked about 6 miles. Yup, we was very tired. 

The next day, we got up had coffee. Took shower and headed out to check things out. We stopped at Denny's and had breakfast, our bill less than $20.00, the food was good actually the food was better than the fancy restaurant dinner last night. We went to the Firehouse Museum, that was very nice.

Next, we went to Sealife in the mall on the Riverwalk.

The tickets cost $30.00 a person. It was fun.

The Riverwalk boat ride was awesome. We got a history lesson. If your in San Antonio, TX visit the Riverwalk and get on the boat. You see things while on the boat that you don't see walking around. We had so much fun!
