I like to know a little about the dish I'm making. This dish is named after a Italian opera star. It's believe that Chef Ernest Arbogast in California created this recipe. Other sources attribute the orgin in New York City. The chicken tetrazzini was made famous by Chef Louis Paquet.
Ingredients :
2 chicken breast, cooked and cut into bite size pieces
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 small onion, diced
1 - 8 ounce can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup sour cream
4 ounces spaghetti
8 ounce can mushroom, drained
5 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 stick butter
parsley, garnish
Directions:
Cook pasta according tlo package directions. Drain well.
In skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add onions, salt and pepper. Add remaining ingredients except sour cream, pasta, cheese and parsley. Heat through. Add sour cream, pasta, cheese. Stir well. Garnish with parsley.
